Our Work

Building a Future,
Restoring the Land

From agricultural greenhouses to education and emergency relief, our projects are designed to strengthen the resilience (Sumud) of the Bil'in community.

Abu Lemon Park Revitalization

In a village where safe play spaces are rare, Abu Lemon Park stands as Bil'in's only green sanctuary for children. In 2021, our community came together to rehabilitate this vital space—repairing playground equipment, restoring the grounds, and bringing back its vibrant beauty. Every child's smile here is a testament to what we can achieve when we fight for our land and our future, side by side.

An Alliance for the Land

The battle to protect our land is too large for any single village to wage alone. In 2013, we forged a strategic alliance with the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture and the Farmers' Union to extend land protection efforts beyond Bil'in to all communities affected by the Separation Wall. Through massive olive tree planting campaigns and voluntary plowing days, we transformed land protection from a local effort into an integrated national project.

Community Ambulance Service

Every second counts when lives are at stake. In response to urgent medical needs arising from frequent injuries during demonstrations, we purchased and equipped a fully functional ambulance to serve Bil'in and the western Ramallah region. Bridging the critical time gap to reach hospitals, this ambulance became a vital lifeline for the entire community—saving lives and minimizing long-term health complications.

Martyr Bassem Abu Rahmeh Tournament

We honor our martyrs not only with tears, but with action. In 2010, we sponsored the "Martyr Bassem Abu Rahmeh Football Tournament" to commemorate a beloved player and activist who was martyred during a peaceful demonstration against the Wall. What began as a memorial has grown into a major national sporting event, with dozens of teams participating annually to celebrate Bassem's spirit of resilience and sacrifice.

Bil'in Clinic Development

Dignified healthcare is a fundamental human right. In 2013, we partnered with Swiss Friends to transform the Bil'in clinic from an under-resourced facility into a fully equipped, welcoming health center. Through comprehensive interior rehabilitation and the supply of essential medical equipment, patients now receive care in a clean, professional environment that preserves their dignity.

Greenhouse Farmer Empowerment

Resilience is not just survival—it's cultivation. In 2017, we launched the Greenhouse Project on reclaimed lands in Area C, establishing 14 greenhouses for farming families to anchor their presence on vulnerable territory. Beyond food security and supplementary income, this initiative represents "productive Sumud"—turning threatened land into a source of productivity, dignity, and life.

Basket of Goodness Project

Human dignity begins with securing basic needs. Launched in October 2025, our "Basket of Goodness" project provides a sustainable food security net for the most vulnerable families in Bil'in and its surroundings. Delivering 50 complete food baskets every quarter, this initiative goes beyond emergency aid to build lasting bridges of trust and solidarity within our community.

Reviving Destroyed Lands

For every tree they uproot, we plant ten more. In 2010, we launched an emergency campaign to replant lands devastated by scorched-earth tactics, turning blackened soil green once again with hundreds of olive saplings and seeds. This act of defiance ensures that our land remains productive and protected from confiscation, proving that our bond with the earth is unbreakable.
